أعلنت القنصلية العامة للبنان في سيدني - ولاية نيو ساوث ويلز، إطلاق نظام جديد لحجز المواعيد يشمل جميع الخدمات والمعاملات القنصلية المقدمة لأبناء الجالية اللبنانية، على أن يبدأ العمل به اعتباراً من 1 أيلول 2026.
ويأتي النظام الجديد في إطار تنظيم استقبال المراجعين وإدارة المعاملات القنصلية عبر نظام إلكتروني للمواعيد، مع وضع مجموعة من القواعد الجديدة التي ينبغي على أبناء الجالية أخذها في الاعتبار قبل مراجعة القنصلية
وبحسب الإعلان الرسمي، أتاحت القنصلية لأبناء الجالية بدء حجز المواعيد منذ 17 آب 2026، على أن تكون المواعيد المحجوزة ابتداءً من الأول من أيلول وما بعده، وفقاً للأوقات المتوافرة عبر نظام الحجز الإلكتروني.
ومن أبرز التغييرات التي تدخل حيز التنفيذ في الأول من أيلول، تخصيص كل موعد يتم حجزه لمواطن واحد فقط، ما يعني أن كل شخص يرغب في إنجاز معاملة قنصلية يحتاج إلى موعد مستقل.
كذلك أعلنت القنصلية أنه اعتباراً من التاريخ نفسه، لن يعود البريد الإلكتروني الذي كان مستخدماً للتواصل معها يستقبل الاستفسارات أو الطلبات المتعلقة بالخدمات والمعاملات القنصلية، إذ سيصبح مخصصاً حصراً للمراسلات الرسمية.
ويشمل عمل القنصلية مجموعة واسعة من الخدمات، من بينها معاملات جوازات السفر اللبنانية، تسجيل الولادات والزواج والطلاق والوفيات، الوكالات، معاملات الجنسية، إخراجات القيد، إضافة إلى طلبات التأشيرات إلى لبنان وغيرها من الخدمات القنصلية.
وفي تنبيه مهم، ذكّرت القنصلية أبناء الجالية بأن خدماتها القنصلية تُقدَّم حصراً في مقرها الرسمي في سيدني، مؤكدة عدم وجود أي مكاتب أو فروع أخرى تابعة لها خارج هذا العنوان:

ودعت أبناء الجالية الراغبين في إنجاز معاملاتهم إلى استخدام نظام المواعيد الجديد ومراجعة المعلومات والمتطلبات الخاصة بكل معاملة قبل التوجه إلى القنصلية.
The Consulate General of Lebanon in Sydney, New South Wales, has announced the introduction of a new appointment booking system covering all consular services and transactions, effective September 1, 2026.
The new system is aimed at streamlining consular services and organizing the reception of members of the Lebanese community through an electronic appointment platform, with new procedures that applicants should take into account before visiting the Consulate.
According to the official announcement, appointment bookings opened on August 17, 2026, for appointments scheduled from September 1 onward, subject to availability.
One of the key changes taking effect on September 1 is that each appointment will be allocated to one person only. This means that every individual requiring a consular service must book a separate appointment.
The Consulate also announced that, as of the same date, the email address previously used for inquiries and requests related to consular services will no longer accept such correspondence and will be reserved exclusively for official communications.
The Consulate provides a wide range of services to the Lebanese community, including Lebanese passport applications, registration of births, marriages, divorces and deaths, powers of attorney, citizenship-related procedures, civil registry documents, and visa applications for Lebanon, among other consular services.
In an important reminder, the Consulate stressed that its consular services are provided exclusively at its official premises in Sydney, and that it has no other offices or branches operating on its behalf.
