The World Lebanese Cultural Union (WLCU) - Oceania Continental Council took part in the annual dinner of the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce in Australia, alongside political leaders, business figures, and representatives of the local community.
The event featured speeches highlighting Liverpool's urban, social, and economic development, with particular emphasis on the opportunities expected from the upcoming opening of Western Sydney International Airport, which is set to become a major driver of growth for the region.
The WLCU delegation was led by its Oceania Continental President, Engineer Badawi El Hajj, accompanied by members of the executive committee and representatives of the organization's branches across Australia, reflecting the Lebanese community's active engagement in Australia's economic and civic life.
