The Lebanese American Medical Association (ALMA) - Southern California Chapter (Los Angeles and Orange County) recently hosted a gathering that brought together a number of Lebanese physicians practicing across the United States, in an initiative aimed at strengthening professional and social ties within the Lebanese-American medical community and expanding collaboration among Lebanese healthcare professionals nationwide.
The event was attended by prominent Lebanese-American medical leaders, including ALMA National President Dr. Georges Ayoub, as well as current and former members of the association’s national board. Participants exchanged views on ways to further advance professional cooperation and reinforce the role of Lebanese physicians within the American healthcare system.
ALMA expressed its appreciation for the efforts of the Southern California Chapter in organizing the event, extending special thanks to Dr. William Frem and the chapter’s Board of Directors for hosting a successful and engaging gathering.
The event also welcomed several distinguished members of the ALMA network, including Dr. Paul Wakim, Dr. Jasen Boutros, Dr. Joe Mouawad, Dr. Robby Ayoub, and Dr. Habib El Ghoul, along with many physicians and members of the Lebanese-American community.
According to ALMA, gatherings of this kind play an important role in strengthening unity within the Lebanese-American medical community, fostering professional networking, encouraging the exchange of expertise, and supporting the next generation of Lebanese physicians in the United States.
The association emphasized that Lebanese physicians continue to make significant contributions to the American healthcare sector while serving as a source of pride for the Lebanese diaspora worldwide.
