A peaceful solidarity march in support of Lebanon is set to take place in the city of Dearborn, Michigan, on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, organized by the group “Silat al Rahim” under the slogan: “Stand With Lebanon – A Peaceful Solidarity March.”
The march aims to express solidarity with the Lebanese people and innocent civilians amid the difficult circumstances Lebanon continues to face, while emphasizing the values of unity, compassion, and peace within the Lebanese and Arab American community.
According to the announcement, participants will gather at 11:00 AM in front of the Dearborn Performing Arts Center, with the march scheduled to begin at 12:00 PM toward the Arab American National Museum in Dearborn.
Organizers stated that the event comes “in the spirit of Eid and human solidarity,” calling on members of the community to join and raise their voices for humanity, justice, and peace.
The promotional poster for the event also carried emotional messages highlighting the enduring connection between the Lebanese diaspora and their homeland, stating:
“From our prayers to our presence, we remain connected… From our voices to our actions, we make a difference.”
